South Carolina Sweethearts: Karsyn & Jake's Southern Celebration

High school sweethearts Karsyn & Jake tied the knot under the shade of two grand Magnolia trees at a venue in Columbia, SC. After attending the University of South Carolina together and living in Columbia after graduation, it was the perfect place for them to have their wedding.

As you may know by now, no Southern event is complete without a monogram. Karsyn & Jake set the tone for a true Southern celebration with their Signature 3-Letter Monogram embossed on their wedding invitations, printed on the back of the envelope, and adorning the top of the enclosed details card.

The couples' striking monogram showed up again on the dance floor under the sail cloth-tented reception. Arrangements of pink and white flowers with whispy greenery in various sizes topped the tables where guests were able to sit and eat the food from different food stations.

Karsyn didn't want a strict color palette for her wedding. Instead she wanted a summery, layered look with pops of pink among the greenery, and different patterns & textures with the linens she chose. With the backdrop of an elegant, Southern home as her event venue, it was a perfect fit.

During cocktail hour, guests were greeted with a monogrammed bar where they could order one of the signature cocktails: a Margarita, French 75, or Old Fashioned, complete with monogrammed koozies and drink stirrers. Small bites were even served on personalized acrylic trays, featuring their Signature 3-Letter Monogram.

When asked about the food, Karsyn said that the biggest hit among guests was the Hibachi station. She even had their monogram on the takeout boxes that guests received at that station!

Karsyn's parents graciously gifted the couple a beautiful cake knife and server, engraved with their Shuler Studio Signature 3-Letter Monogram.

As the night continued, Karsyn changed into a shorter dress and sneakers so she and Jake could dance the night away on the monogrammed dance floor with their family, friends, and USC's mascot, Cocky!
